08) I’m going to go with backplane. The pins from the sockets just aren’t long enough, or heavy enough, for pin board.

I appreciate the variety shown here, and this comment is just a personal preference, no criticism intended. My old feeble brain has trouble handling so many photos and their classification in one batch. I just can't assimilate so many at once. I prefer only four or five in each post. That said, I will of course keep wading thru deep postings to see what is there, and when I encounter something new to me, it is worth the scroll down or up to id that particular board.

Per 17, I always throw those in my brass bin for the scrap yard. What is Boardsorts average pay rate for those? Im assuming this means they contain precious metal?

They may or may not be gold and I cannot tell from the photo.
Brass is far more common; but some are known to be gold too.

These, if gold, would be neither gold pin connector nor gold pins. If just the connector nub and shaft is gold plate then they go as gold pin connectors.
Hence custom quote.

I cross similar connectors in higher end a/v equipment. Such as DVHS and DBM (digital beta). And I’ve seen everything from all brass to nearly solid gold; like soft white 18kt nickel-tin-gold. Testing is vital in valuation.
