Hi guys new to this but I have access to bin with regular electronic scrap so taught I'd see if it's worth rescuing parts regularly

should be good for high telcom on those 2,after you remove the dallas boxs from the 1st board.

might also have to remove metal but ill let Lostinlodos decide that.

If those two are a random sample of what's regularly available I'd be visiting that bin everyday! Or better yet, if we're talking about a trash bin, I'd find out how much if anything it would cost to get the responsible party to just drop in a box that you'll be happy to pick up. Cause sooner or later someone else is going to find it. You wouldn't want that person to be the first to approach the owner.

Yep. I’d be offering to “recycle” their materials as well. How much money they could save with less dumpster pickups. :D

Both high telco. Remove the Dallas boxes and if there’s ram stick in the memory sockets pull them out too.

Btw the screw layout makes me believe the front end bracket is actually a partial tray. If so you’ll need to remove that.

Don't think people are interested in what's in the bin as it fills up regular and dumped. I have been taking the Stainless and copper transformers...old motors for copper but there seems to be lots old electronics.

There was a large Cisco box with around 8 boards inside so removed the boards and posted two that you guys have seen.

As the factory I work in is 40 years old approx there are no shortage of old electronics being replaced. Sounds like good start to new hobby

All parts from the one box. As I'm a lower than noob level I think I will stockpile until I figure out the language and what I'm doing. I appreciate the help and advice cheers. I'm mainly looking forward to making my furnace to I can stock pile copper as place mess with wire. The hope is too sell it in ten years time if I don't loose interest by then

Bottom left is backplane, bottom right looks peripheral

That’s a collection of server trays. You’ll need to unscrew the brackets/trays. But the boards range across the spectrum
