I know this question has been asked before but I still can't figure it out. There are several layers of "film" or "glass" in a monitor. I thought some of these have value but I don't know which do. Most monitors I disassemble have white sheets, aluminum looking sheets, glass sheets, and maybe an acrylic or plastic sheet. Thanks in advance for the help.

Is this the film that contains the silver?

Those all contain metal. Different layers have different metals and alloys. Silver is just one of them.
