On the motherboards, remove the heatsinks, (the whole assembly of the copper heat pipe and the radiator at one end and the pad at the other), under them will be the CPU socket, it may require turning a plastic slotted screw to release the CPU, don't break pins off the chip, the motherboards will both go as laptop motherboard, CPUs are separately saleable at CPU prices, on the CD drives, hard to tell, pictures blurry (I have same problem) but if you haven't already, take/tear them apart, and liberate at the minimum, the circuit boards, which sell as their own class CD drive boards, there's other things inside but very small (brass, motors, aluminum) you can sell the hard drive whole but youll likely get far more if you have the small screwdrivers to take the board off the back, you can get the rest for fun, I like the magnets out of them

As for the picture full of smaller boards, the one with the gold fingers (bottom, middle) is gold finger ram, the larger board on right is either peripheral or CD drive, (need better picture) , the rest too blurry

Thank you for the information. I am totally new at this. When my son gets home I'll see if he will help me or at least let me use his tools. He's taking computer repair. Is there any rule as to what to remove or not remove for maximum payout? Or does that depend on the board? And one last thing for now, can anyone tell me how to take good pics with a cell phone?

The photos are a bit hard to decipher. But the above information is accurate.

Photos: In general use bright ambient light and not the phone’s flash. Until about two years ago with rise of staged flashing on phones all the flash does is wash out details.
After that it depends on the phone. The 500 pixel Nokia from 1999 isn’t going to take good pictures no matter what you do. iOS has always had one of the best photo apps. Regardless of your model go to the Apple book store via the Books app and download the free expanded manual. The book will load automatically. Just tap the screen and hit the index icon (top left) and go to the photo section. There’s hundreds of settings. A few minor changes can create beautiful professional photos even on the original iPhone.
Samsung galaxy phones also come with a powerful app as default. With many settings

The most basic rules is to not use the flash unless your phone is 2 years old or NEWER. LED soft white bulbs make the best ambient light. Followed by standard fluorescent tubes. Clear Standard. Bright white CF, soft white CF, white standard, bright white LED, daylight led, neon tube.

In the past my cheap androids (Huawei) gave me excellent close up photographs but my current Alcatel tetra just won't focus, I'm about to buy a $5 digital camera at the thrift store, the worst part is over on goldrefining forum I have to resize pictures to under 1mb

I cut the flash off and took new pics of everything except the motherboards. According to my computer geek son, one CPU is unremovable. That's why there is only 1 CPU in the pics.

If i could get the spindle of the 2 boards, would that change the grade?
Also one more pic of stuff that I'm not sure where to sort.

No. The metal boards keep it there regardless.
Gold pin connector/dirty copper
Dirty copper/hard disk platter
