Not all personalities are destined for a master/slave relationship.
Some of the greatest artists were generally anti-human in their relationships. We’re wondering way off the path here. But who is to say that when AI becomes I that some don’t become pro human? A robot serial killer who disassembles every tech it comes across?
Touching on the self harm statement in studies it is found that while they are often joined to some alternating degree sadism tends to develop for more quickly than masochism. The later often being a justification for the former.
So do we set up clinics for helping these wayward intelligent machines? How do we respond when the fridge decides it doesn’t like the toaster? Do we treat the self harm lines of code that make it overwhelm it’s internal fan motors to feel justified in spiking the voltage to the toaster?
Simply deleting the code is a moral issue. As an intelligent, and potentially sentient existence do we have the right to simply delete lines of code we don’t agree with.
How would that ultimately be different than cutting the hands off a child who spills the milk?
And this is why I don’t discuss AI!
