#4 is from a keyboard and I think has a silver finger, unless it's that acid stuff.

1)see end of list
2)peripheral
3)uncommon. Low telco. Not a finger connector but a direct contacts connector regardless.
4)they’re a silver alloy. It’s barely peripheral with silver and ICs
5)with the few ICs, the nickel through mounts, and gold connector; just barely into peripheral.

1) I’m going to place this in gold pin connector. There’s too much board weight for peripheral. But it’s definitely not midgrade. With no other class to use that’s where I’ll put it.
As a side question for you: any chance you’d post the back? I’m very confused. The traces come off the connectors and just, vanish. Did they really run them through and on the bottom or are they using an internal layer ... which would be really weird. The board isn’t really wide enough for the latter. Which makes me wonder even more: did this actually work? Lol.
I know it’s a dell new bus/PCMCIA-Adv card. And it’s not like dell isn’t know for wonky designs that don’t work in the real world.

Thanks. :D
Typical Dell. Reinvent the board for no reason but to be different.
Wouldn’t even save money here but would definitely give them a new patent.
