What are some of the grades of these chips? I only have a few for grading at the moment. Not all of the chips in the pictures I have at the moment. I can repost better pictures if needed. Have fun grading these chips!

Thank you!

RCA. Tungsten on copper. Gold pins = pentium Mac ceramic. Nickel pins = pinless

I don’t know this one. Don’t think the cap is gold. So same as the first one.

8086

IC

Black fibre with a gold cap. IBM/via gold cap cpu

Old AT$T. Double gold.

Two pentium Mac ceramics. Rest are ICs.

Two more pentium Mac ceramics. Rest ICs

Gold? If so then 8086.

The second picture has gold cap and gold legs, 8086? The 4th picture has gold legs and is ceramic. The two pictures above the last one don't have gold legs if it makes a difference. What is the grade of the chip that is all golden next to the black fiber chip?

Thank you!

2nd if it has gold cap and legs it’s 8086. I can’t tell through the dip holder.
4th would thus be pentium Mac though barely
Still IC.

Finally: they’re not ICs or CPUs. Chris will buy them but no idea as what.

Since the chips in the top picture were graded as pinless could I throw them in with ic chips because ic chips are worth more?

Thank you!

I’d say that’s fair here.
(For two years from now: In unique perspective to the chips at hand)
;)

Some additional white ceramic gold cap and gold legged chips. The third photo has one of what looks like an Eprom with gold legs and a surrounding gold cap.
All the chips with the tape covering the top are purple with gold caps and gold legs.

For these chips and those posted by AAK2, is there value to any of them beyond scrap?

Thank You!

Everything looks like 8086, gold caps, or 486 (no caps)

Please don’t reply to this here but I hope your not parting out some collection. I’m seeing patterns in the posts.
If these are matched series you should be eBaying them, not scrapping individually.

I definitely second what Lost has said.
Most of those are collectible or rare sought for. Those white ceramics bring in much more than scrap and many others.
