Yes. The main board may get higher when the get it in hand (upgrade) but like high end digital cameras they generally top out at high telco.

rdw,
those hand held scanners pay a good amount just as is. I rarely even take cell phones apart anymore because the price difference to weight ratio is very close. Only few are worth the time and effort. I usually only take year 2000 and older cells apart.

Spence,

The big board weighed 1.80 oz, I didn't think to weigh the complete scanner, just guessing it would have weighed 6 to 8 oz. It took me about 10 minutes to get tore down. So I would have been better off leaving it whole.
I have 3 Iphones I have been debating on tearing them down or leaving them as is.....I’m more than likely leaving them as is.

With the iPhone most people are better leaving it as is. Dealing with those soft shell pouch batteries is a pain

Most of those soft cell batteries are bloated or swelled anyways. I do not like dealing with them either, haha; especially when you open up a cell, tablet, or etc and the thing looks like it's about to explode...lol.

Like a bag of popcorn!

and you get stuck with disposal fees! no greenbacks for you!
