Got it, thanks. I was able to get it off pretty easily.

Is it just a general rule that LCD screens should be removed? If so, does this even apply to low grade boards?

With lcd, generally better off than on for grade. But,
When properly prepared and shipped vacuum screens can raise the value.
Some VSLED displays contain a fair bit of gold, palladium, or even more expensive metals.
So the most accurate answer is if LCD remove it and if Vacuum post photos.
