Hello,
I'm currently sorting through 1400+ pounds of boards removed from telco equipment. I've spent the last hour reading through past forum posts and it's clear that just because it comes from telco equipment, doesn't mean it will be graded as telco. So, I think I'm clear on the high-grade telco boards (the multiple photos in the payout list are nice), but I'm still having issues with deciding between low-grade telco and peripheral (or less!).

So, here's a slew of photos that represent examples of the bulk of what I'm sorting. Sorry there are so many (4 example of each grade), but I want to get this right before spending the $600+ to ship down from Alaska. I'll comment on what I think the classification is for each photo. Note that all steel brackets and Dallas switches will be removed.

Also, if I sort conservatively, and something belongs in a higher-grade classification, will it get bumped up, or do I just irritate the sorters/graders?

Thanks!

Is midgrade

2020-10-13 16.20.57 (Medium)
Needs major cleanup to make high telco
Wires, plastic covers, aluminium sinks. Etc.

Otherwise spot on.

You must remove ALL giant steel brackets to get the grades. Those rack brackets are too heavy to ignore cs the standard thin stainless ones.

Thanks, I'm feeling a lot more confident in my sorting now.

Yes, will definitely be removing brackets and large heat sinks, wires (except only trimmed on wire wrap boards, right?), Dallas switches, and wetted mercury switches (if safe to do, such as when socketed--otherwise to hazmat they go).

Here are three more pictures, and I think that about covers 90% of the types I have. Everything else are just variants upon these board I've posted.
