 Post subject: Floppy bump?

I’m assuming this has been asked and answered several times but I could not find it without a search feature. Floppy disc drives brown on one side I’m assuming go low grade? However, this is the first one I’ve come across that is green on both sides. Is there any bump in grade for these boards?

It would be peripheral since almost all floppy drive boards go as peripheral as long as the board still has the gold pins intact.

Oh nice. I always assumed because they were brown on one side that they would go as low grade. Also never knew the pins were gold. Thanks!

Definitely peripheral
That’s a hold over board design. They work for both late 5.25 disks with female pin sockets and 3.5” up to 2.5MB DS/SpD
A lot of these reappeared in post 2015 generic usb floppy disks since a giant supply in China was found. Millions.
Be careful buying usb floppy drives under $5! Not all of them are HD or SpD!
