 Post subject: Hard Drive Reader Arms

We are planning a near-future trip to Boardsort and have a large number of the reader head arms with the attached connector. What do these grade as whole? Alternatively, is there some disassembly that would easily break them into multiple categories?

Arms dirty aluminium
Plastic with Compression pins are cable ends.

You could use a nail or bolt cutter to snip through the metal rings. Any that are copper I pull loose.

There’s a couple of write ups on breaking down hard drives and arms.
For the majority it’s not worth it though.
