The two primary boards are peripheral
The Xilleon is low telco. That’s an entry level board.
The ones that make the processor level jump are from extreme high end plasma and (old) mega LED TVs that are full fledged A/V tuner boards on a card not much larger than a credit card. 3x4 and 3x5 in size with a 290pin direct bus socket. That is connected to a break out board with a dozen different cable sockets all plugged into the back and side ports of the TV. Oh, and the mobo is usually on the opposite side with a long easily damaged ribbon cable to connect them together.
We’re talking those $30,000 TVs in Sound & Vision and Hyper magazines back then. In reality they were basically very high end custom designed pro studio laptops with a massive screen. ;)
