Here's my guess:

#3, 4, 5: High Grade Telecom

#8: Peripheral You should be able to remove the 3 IC chips and still be at peripheral.

Lostinlodos will answer your question about removing the IC chips from #1 and #2 since I'm not sure on that.

2 gfc don’t remove chips
3 high telco
4 high telco
5 high telco
6 peripheral
7 peripheral
8 peripheral
9 peripheral

8 I see 3 or 4 DIPs. If just those 4 removing them shouldn’t be a problem.
