Why only peripheral on #2 with the gold fingers?

I not so sure why it gets peripheral instead of a different grade but from my experience here I'm pretty sure that it will go as peripheral

Correct on all. Peripheral on the riser because there’s nothing besides the fingers and a a few grams of pins for value.
If you trim the fingers off you get midgrade and clean gold fingers.
The math is up to you, the seller, on which is a better option.
Most cases bet more trimmed but... Dell, HP RTC use heavy poly propylene (HDPP) sockets and not the more common ABS and PS plastics.
