 Post subject: Are these goldbplated

Would you guys assume these to be gold plated screws? I wouldn't think they'd be brass coated but I could be assuming wrong. We know what happens when we assume.

Aside from the off-shot reality that I can’t tell from the photo:

Yep. Everything about it says brass. Gold is used for integrity. Unless this is from a military jet or space-equipment I see no reason to think anything other than brass.

Btw: only time I have EVER seen gold screws that large are in satellites. (The in the sky kind). And they tend to be solid gold, not plate. Radiation does strange things to metals. Etc.
If you don’t know where it from from unscrew one. If it’s brass or other it will come out. If it’s gold you’ll trash the top of the screw head. You can literally cut gold aerospace relay screws with a plastic knife.

More realistically it looks like a standard quarter tray power board from a rack system.
