I posted the link above here on the first post of page 2 (mwl).
They’re one of the larger yards in North America. It’s sounds like (from my phone call) they stopped buying them so you may have an opportunity to buy a larger amount if they lost their buyer.

You may also find a regular supply from aluminium can recyclers, albeit a bit dirty.
Stupid idiots put them in cans all the time to add weight.

You really need to check those capacitors on ebay or other places. Rubycon capacitors can go from $1 - $15 depending on the type of capacitor.

Other larger branded capacitors have similar value.

as for that stuff, just walk into a repair shop with a few samples and ask? sounds the most likely way to me.

I found a 30gal garbage bin holds about 50-60lbs. If you’re in the Great Lakes area you’re welcome to them at my yards rate of the day.
Like you said shipping this stuff is the value killer.
As for actual content value as of about six months ago when I last asked a recovery company I use they’re worth $1.90 per lb not excluding costs. They pay $0.70 per pound as of posting.

On the other hand if you’re able to remanufacture them.... the smallest ones appear to sell for 50-75č each at the bottom end. So I can see where there’s money in that.

The ones I’d be happy to ship to you are the giant appliance caps if you’re interested in them. Even my local yard is afraid of them.

Can you please share us the link or a way to approach the dealer is possible.
I'm looking forward your answer.

But who knows. :)

If you guys have them in large numbers, I'm interested in buying them all. But shipping costs may be the deterrent if you have small numbers of these capacitors.
what do you consider large numbers?

{removed pharma link}

I'll buy it off you if you're gonna get rid of it.

It's easy to make a supply for this purpose from junk-box parts; the circuit is a pair of 500mA 24V transformers connected secondary to secondary

As with paper capacitors, the capacitance value of an electrolytic capacitor ?

From Wikipedia
Mathematically, the self capacitance of a conductor is defined by
C
=
q
V
,
{\displaystyle C={\frac {q}{V}},}
where
q is the charge held by the conductor,
V
=
1
4
π
ε
0

σ
d
S
r
{\displaystyle V={1 \over 4\pi \varepsilon _{0}}\int {\sigma \,dS \over r}} is the electric potential,
σ is the surface charge density.
dS is an infinitesimal element of area,
r is the length from dS to a fixed point M within the plate
ε
0
\varepsilon _{0} is the vacuum permittivity
Using this method, the self capacitance of a conducting sphere of radius R is:[3]
C
=
4
π
ε
0
R
