I thought I posted this earlier but maybe I didn't click submit or something... Anyway...

#1 - Anyone know what these little flying saucer disks from the number keypad are made of?

#2 - These little micro-switches have them too.

#3 - Are these screw bases gold plated? They look like it, but not sure if they're worth breaking out if they're just brass. If they are gold, would they go in with gold pins?

No idea about 1 and 2, but I'm pretty sure #3 are brass.

Those little contacts are usually silver, especially the ones inside the tiny switches, at least thats how they used to be. These days, who knows? Really, the only way to know for sure is to test.
However, it would take you years to fill a dump truck to have any relevant amount to melt, refine and make worth while.

I'm not looking to do any refining, and I'm not sure whether there is any silver in these or not. The backside of these little disks looks like brass, and I'm just wondering if the disk itself is brass or aluminum. Then I'll just pluck them off an throw them in the appropriate bucket with all of the other like metal to sell at local scrap yard.
But I am keeping all of those little switches for now, just until I find out if there is any silver in them.
