I have several pounds of these. I got them from garage cleanout, perhaps of a late scrapper. No idea how these are classified. Hive mind, any ideas?

Sorry, I just realized that you mentioned they are ceramic in the title! To me they look like AMD Ceramic No Metal, but with the pins being removed I'm not sure they would be able to get in that class. It almost looks like the pins were de-soldered instead of being trimmed.

These look more physically like flat packs but are ceramic and and are not CPUs. I don't know if they qualify as AMD ceramic. Hence the question.

Allenzachary, based on the pin situation, I'm doubtful they would grant the AMD ceramic category, which is typically reserved as you stated for actual CPU's that have gold legs.
That said, some years ago they created the "Sun CPU" category. If you've ever seen one, they are heavy and ceramic but are generally pinless, albeit with gold sort of LGA style contacts. I would imagine, if anything, Chris may put these there as a courtesy, but I would email him a picture and see what he says (generally the best practice for weird shit).

I wrote to Chris Skeeles, the ultimate authority at Boardsort. What he says, goes. Here's what he says:

"Those would end up being graded as an Apple CPU. They are a BGA (pinless ball grid array) style cpu, these are typically found in MAC PowerPC."

So, in conclusion, they *are* CPUs. Grade: Apple CPU.
