Yes , so this board came from a HVAC unit in some shape or form, used the board sells for over $150. However this board looks like it was damaged due to black burn spots on the board. So I am curious what grade would this fall into , especially considering how much the board in working condition would sell for , I am thinking there must be some good stuff in it or am I wrong?

I think this board could be Peripheral High Grade. It doesn't have much high grade material so it might fall into Peripheral Low Grade as well.

Usually, the cost of the original device doesn't have much to do with the classification of the board. Sometimes in network switches a low end brand might be Peripheral High Grade and a high end brand could be High Grade Telecom, but the difference in original price would be several thousand dollars.

My gut reaction was midgrade.

If ropeman thinks there's something worthwhile there then low peripheral may be the spot.
