Do the chips in the top one make it midgrade rather than low grade? I always put these kind in the lowest grade box, I must be doing something wrong.

The difference between mid and low grade is very subjective, even within boardsort. More than any other class. The general rule from them is green on one side midgrade. Brown on both sides low grade.
My personal rule has been
Brown o. Both sides no ics no gold goes low.

1 or more ICs AND silver jumpers and/or ceramic monolithic capacitors (cmcs) it goes in midgrade.

If midgrade Regardless of colour AND has gold pins (eg floppy disk controllers)
And/or it has multiple silver i/o (RCA) ports (eg tv i/o boards)
it goes peripheral.

You'll occasionally make mistakes sticking to that set but you'll be more correct more often than not, without worrying about colours.

Good to know about green and brown, I knew the brown is low, but did not know if there was green on one side it was graded differently.

The silver jumpers and/or ceramic monolithic capacitors (cmcs) are something I am looking up to see what they are, but I believe the CMCS are the stand up circle thingies on the tan side of the board. Still have to do more research.

CMCs are the small rectangles. Almost always twotone and often with 3 numbers on them.

I thought that was the jumper but did not want to assume anything, my reasoning to thinking it was one is that it jumped from one side to the other LOL
Thanks for showing me.
