I have posted only one pic per set of boards/cards. Apologies for any prior confusion by showing sets with one pic and then sets with multiple pics in the same thread.

1) 4 gold finger cards. Removed fan heatsink by clipping 4 plastic posts. It's too big.
@ cd/dvd board.

2) three gold finger cards
3) 3 gold finger cards
4) 3 gold finger cards bottom is peripheral please remove bracket from it. Backplane board isn't too big in excess for Backplane. so finger card

5) top gold finger card bottom remove bracket for telco

6) 2 gold finger cards

Thanks for this. In #4 the bracketless one,why doesn't go as backplane? Asking so I don't make a pile of these thinking I have backplane cards..

Got it. I'm pretty impressed you can tell what each one is every time from a picture when I have some difficulty and it's in my hands. I thought I had more of a mix up here but I guess it wasn't so bad. Thanks again!

after enough experience you learn to pickup on it. their main payout sheet has pretty good descriptions for most of the items if you click on them. There is also an E-scrap gallery here: http://boardsort.com/cpg15x/

Along with boardsort experience I work primarily on older equipment and servers so I tend to spot some stuff faster than others.
It's just experience, you'll be the same not too long from now.
That and I'll break down anything once, just to see how it works.

Oh man I'm totally using the gallery now. Sorry overlooked the resource but thanks. And I have some fun decommissioning different things too.
