Are the boards from Routers, Switches, and Hub automatically classified as telecom boards? Thank you in advance.

Peripheral

Finger card

Finger card

Peripheral

Peripheral

Telco ( justified by silver/nickel sandwich board lots of gold pin rj-45 jacks no steel shielding; few nice ICs and lots of CMCs)

Telco Borderline. Would go with telco. Despite big shield and dummy junk with LEDs lots of ICs and two flat packs.

Peripheral

Telco Another borderline one. The serial port makes it problematic but a fair IC and CMC population I see it hitting telco. 1 cup and 3 micro controllers plus population aughta do it.

Small socket motherboard. Soldered CPU, north and south bridge chips, a controller, 3 peripheral ports, 2 internal expansion ports and multiple RJ45 ports.

Thank you lostinlodos. Even though the last one came from a network switch, it can still be satisfied as a small socket board? Sorry for the noobie questions, just trying to get my bearings straight because I have a ton of different boards as seen in my post from a couple of days ago and this will make sorting a nightmare.

Peripheral and small socket are currently the same and have been for some time. So separation is not necessarily at the moment. It's more of a down the line comment.
For a board with a soldered CPU to be small socket and not peripheral (why game machine boards do NOT qualify)
Must have a cpu, bridge chip, I/O controller, multiple external I/o ports and ram and/or expansion slots.
