Green fibre with metal

Grr. This is different isn't it. I'm going to say slot processor. There's too much good stuff to dump it out as a gfw. Too much weight for gfw/o. So I'll say slot unless mls has a reply.

in regards to the last one, I usually throw those in with gold finger cards as I do not run across them very often.

HOWEVER....

it is a higher than average value as far as gold fingers go. If you only have one, just throw it in with GFC's... if you have more than a few pounds of them, it doesn't hurt to ask. I would be hard pressed to say you would get slot processor price for them, but I could easily see getting telecom in quantity.

Ultimately it is up to Boardsort though... they may know exactly what is in those boards and what to pay out.

My thoughts were telco and green with are the same price.

For all the strange and wonderfully wierd stuff I (and as history shows mls) go through; these aren't something I see much either. Best answer then is;
Email Chris a photo.
And do let us all know what he says.
You're very well somewhere in between on some off category not listed.

The board in the last picture looks like a RAID controller from a Dell PowerEdge server. Gold fingers at the top are where it would slot into a PCI Express on the motherboard. Holes in the upper and lower right corners are where a metal bracket was attached (one of those slot-cover thingies you see in the back of every PC). Black and white connectors at the bottom are 50-pin SCSI ribbon cable connectors. There is a RAM slot, which is not unusual for a RAID controller--a RAID controller is like a little computer-within-a-computer and will have its own CPU and RAM.

I'm not sure if this helps with the grading, but might help with knowing where to get more of them.

Dell, HP and probably other manufacturers will usually include a very basic RAID controller on the motherboard. If the customer wants something fancier, they will install an add-on board like this at the factory. Manufacturers have moved away from SCSI at this point, so most RAID controllers from the past six or seven years will now be SATA or SAS. Copyright on the board in the picture says 2007.

Picture #1: is that from an Apple TV?

The LSI arm CPU is the giveaway for an i/o controller of some sort so fits what jared is saying.
Still leaves us stumped on a grading class though. But now we know/what/ it is. :)
