Hey all. I see that over the last year, laptop docking stations have lost a lot of value. I see a Feb 2016 post stating Laptop Docking Station Boards would be purchased by board sort.com at peripheral price. Does board sort.com still consider these boards at peripheral grade? Thanks all.

it all depends on the board's population of surface mounted devices... I have seen a very few go as laptop motherboards, but the large majority of them will go as peripheral.

These days they're almost all peripheral.
The only variation are the very old ones (pentium and earlier) that had a full size itx style at motherboard in the doc; which go as large socket since they have a math coprocessor and ram etc. You can tell them by looking on the laptop connection side for what appears like, in this order, a set of ports as parallel scsi parallel, connectors for the back of the laptop.
