Sorry if I caused confusion ; I wasn't saying there was enough for pin board. There's not.
There needs to be another row for that to come into the equation.
I was worried there may not be enough to offset for backplane.

What??? Lol yeah I did mis understand that. Ok now I'm on the same page with you :) No biggy though.

So it's borderline back plane and what? Peripheral? Surely not telco.

I have a bunch of those old pin boards with a lot of wire connecting the pins. Are they worth more?

Leejr....
Someone else posted a picture similar to the one you did. From what I gather you need to pull all that wire and it goes as a "pin" board. That being said I don't believe there is a catagory for so called boards, you will need to ask Chris directly. It's my understanding they are worth more than backplanes. The best thing I can suggest is let Lostinlodos advise you on it.

backplane for both.

You 'could' get pin board if you can remove the plastic and extraneous board material, but then you loose the extra board weight... and the guys at the dock are in a good mood.

Typically pinboard class is reserved for a specific type of old electronic board that was used for building customized circuit boards. it is usually a pale green/tan board with nothing but pins sticking out of it on one or both sides.... often times the pins are wrapped with a shit-ton of wire. But they are very beautiful boards.

I've seen a few actual pin boards post here and there was a small board similar to one of the large sockets on my board, so I thought it was worth someone more knowledgeable about board taking a look.

That looks like a peg board. I know; too many terms.
Peg board could worth more than peripheral in some cases but not enough to be pin board.
With peg board they'll pull a single pin to test the silver, copper, and nickel content and base the boards value off of that.
Pin boards contain many free standing gold or gold plated pins. Multiple pins will be tested from different places on the board and an averaged payout will be determined for the gold content of the weight minus the board weight.
Peg board rarely gets over $3-$5 per lb and is usually a bit above base peripheral rate.
Pin board starts around telco rate in most instances and climbs from there.

What my thought on that board is gold tipped copper plated steel.
Have a small magnet? See if it sticks I'm correct and that will be peripheral rate. Enough gold and copper to offset the board weight similar to floppy drive boards.
If it doesn't stick it will need to be reviewed on site.
Simply put because I've never come across gold flashed copper plated nickel. That wouldn't make sense.

For anything peripheral or better though you'll need to remove the wires.
