I'm second guessing myself.

The smaller board is from and back of the same board.

I think backplane is a good assumption unless MLS has a different opinion

well thats kinda what I thought. After talking to you about another members pin board the other day I thought it was worth asking for a pro's opinion.

Thanks again Lost

It's the large one I'm self questioning. The two singles are definitely backplane

Rack I/o boards like the top one can be problematic. A third row and you're into debates about telco and pin board. 1 row and we all fight peripheral vs backplane.
Lucky they only ever go in as 1 or 2 at a time, or in large lots where debating is minimal.

Cases of someone sending in 5 different rack I/o boards are going to be quite rare. :)

But then that's what the forum is for.

Hi rdw1121. I brought in a lot of the top board into boardsort last month. I got the backplane rate for them. My next shipment shipment has so far 6 different backplanes, it will be interesting to say the least lol

backplane for both.

You 'could' get pin board if you can remove the plastic and extraneous board material, but then you loose the extra board weight... and the guys at the dock are in a good mood.

Typically pinboard class is reserved for a specific type of old electronic board that was used for building customized circuit boards. it is usually a pale green/tan board with nothing but pins sticking out of it on one or both sides.... often times the pins are wrapped with a shit-ton of wire. But they are very beautiful boards.

Sorry if I caused confusion ; I wasn't saying there was enough for pin board. There's not.
There needs to be another row for that to come into the equation.
I was worried there may not be enough to offset for backplane.
