Long time admirer of all you smart people on Boardsort.. finally now have an account and will soon begin sending items in. So - what the HECK is this and how do I class it? Thanks everyone!

What is it? A staggered pin connector not a common find. Looks to be quite literally yanked out of a housing box

What to class it? Well technically it's a backplane you've got two options here
If you send it like that you'll probably get telco or (possibly) pin/peg board. Though there doesn't appear to be enough gold for pin board.

Or you can make two sets of cuts. Remove the adapter (gold pin adapter) and then cut the gold tops off the pins and send them for a gold pin quote. The rest of what's left of the pins can be sold to your local yard.

Neither pin/peg board nor gold pins are on the quote form. They can be included (and noted on the printed quote) and will be paid based on the gold quantity and base materials.
