I apologize for the post, but as time is limited today I am trying to get as much done as possible and can't peruse the thousands of pics to verify the comments about boards since they are somewhat subjective to the grader...

Large socket, not going anywhere
Yep large socket

Oh! Memories! :) that's a high end board.
Not telco but if you upload the photo on the confirmation of your quote I don't think you'll have any issues with DUAL large socket.

Awesome deal man! Appreciate the info. I am currently weighing out what I have, and trying to figure the best packaging to offset the cost and make enough to make it worth shipping! I have 40 # of sm/metal socket, 24 # of lg socket, that dual lg socket one you just identified, three regular telco boards from servers, about 4 pounds of gold ram, about a pound of silver/tin, 9# gold finger cards, and about 3 pounds of HDD boards. Thinking of maybe trying to split all that into two separate shipments evenly divided. Cost is about a dollar per pound to ship. This would be the first shipment I ever sent so it would be a learning process. You all rock@!

If you go with fedex use smaller square and rectangular boxes. Price drops fast on cost when you hand them a dozen fill space boxes over one 70lb giant.
Think Tetris. The more holes they can plug the lower your cost will be.

Awesome idea!! I never thought of the Tetris idea, but I can see where smaller 'space fillers' would really make them happier. Thanks!!!! Will check it out today. Plus, the guy I am using as a shipping spot will not charge his markup for me to use him and I use his State Certified scales to weigh my stuff.

I have a FedEx commercial account so over the years I've tried every which way possible. I've found that large loads of less than 20x20 boxes ships lower than even priority flat rate in bulk. Like 16x12x3 and 18x8x2.
Fedex works like any trucking company charging purely (almost) by girth not weight.

I use Amazon prime boxes which are standardised.
Use common sense though. Boardsort isn't going to be happy if your 100 pound shipment shows up in 500 boxes. But I normally send 3-5 boxes per 50 pound order and pay under $15-$20 to do so.

The guy who has the shipping office (authorized FedEx, UPS, and USPS shipper) has been nice in letting me play around with his scales. I will figure out what the general cost would be for 3 separate boxes of the about 75 pounds of stuff. I sincerely appreciate the info. I don't have a commercial account, so not sure how that would affect the rates. I will find out though.

Commercial rates are 8-12% lower on average. For ground.
The big commercial savings are in overnight and express options.
