Greetings,

This is the first time I've seen a MB that has gold fingers and an additional Foxconn board slotted to it.

Any one know why the Foxconn add, what is does and how would I grade this combo?

Thanks!

It's an expansion breakout for split bandwidth PCI units. Not common but not rare. It's one of the two designs for this, the other uses two pci slots in a straight line and is far more common.

Board is a small socket with or without finger on it so help yourself to slicing it off. The breakout will be peripheral (two ports) or backplane (3 or more ports). Looks like there's 3 there for backplane.

Here's a slightly varied variant of the inline style (vs your parallel).

Thanks for the example. "A picture is worth . . . etc."
