Weird to me, at least.

No chips or any other tweakers on it's front or back. Completely bare.

Why? Just super cheap?

Those are RAMBUS spacers. Systems that used RAMBUS RAM that did not have enough chipped RAM to fill all the RAM slots on the motherboard used these, otherwise the system would throw an error on POST. These were most commonly used on high end Dell Dimension P4 systems from the early 2000s. Check with chris@boardsort.com, but if not classified as gold fingered cards, they may get a special rate or could go with silver/tin RAM.

Definitely gold finger cards. I go through them a bit every now and then.
