Just make sure it's solid and not liquid or it may change into something else.

This MAY have a gold cap.
Dead they run about $5-$10 but as parts you'll probably get the same , os scrapping is a good call here.

It will have an 8086, 8088, or 80C88 most likely
The 8088 and 8086 are socketed dip CPUs and would be gold caps
The later 80C88 is a socketed qfp cpu. No cap at all. The last of them used an 8086 qpga. Again gold cap.
