Would it go as a laptop or should it be stripped down

Have you tried E-Bay yet? Might sell as an As-Is parts machine if it does not work. If working may be worth something to a collector.

If E-Bay is out then I say strip it. I would love to see the inside, and what goodies it may hold.

I looked on eBay anywhere from $60-$200
No bids though and this is missing some stuff battery ect...

Just looked up the model, and in 1990 this starting price was $5,399!

Well you'll either have a PGA 286 which I have gotten out of these before, for 486 class cpu, or, a soldered flip chip.
The laptop board, the ram, peripheral for the floppy
There may be a flash card, they were coming out in that time period.
If you're lucky there's going to be a 287 and a series of 806x chips. That are socketed as well.
Fairly nice unit for parting out.


Make sure to remove the Dallas clock box. It's a battery.

Midgrade/telco the hg finger should offset the trans here
Large socket remove the Dallas box
