I forgot how many times I played DOOM 1, 2, and 3 as a kid on old Compaq presarios. lol Comanche was another one. If it will stop raining here, I will go get some Gaylord boxes and start getting this stuff ready to go out. Between all the traffic control boxes and multiple truck-loads of computers and IT equipment, its time to start moving it on out. Took a few lap top screens to the place that gave me 30lbs of lap-top batteries today and they gave me another 5 or so batteries to add to the pile. What type of tape is required to tap over the terminals on lithium ion batteries?

Use a single strip of scotch tape per terminal when you have separate terminals. Or a few strips across the contacts if you have a single row of small contacts. Then a strip of plastic shipping tape around the ends of the scotch tape for good measure I've never heard of them arriving in taped in many years.
I'll post photos later since this obviously isn't free from interpretation but I've never had one come undone.

That's an m2 card. It would go as telco. The finger isn't enough for the gold ram rate.

Thanks. Telco was the last thing I imagined. Ill just put a nice strip of 2" wide scotch packing tape over the terminals and call it good. I have a case of rolls, should be plenty.

On metal socket motherboards, does the metal cover and hinge assembly need to be taken off?

On some newer metal socket boards, the metal hinge assembly is held in place with torx screws. Remove the screws and the hinge will come off and leave the socket in place. This will upgrade the board to small socket and depending on how small socket is priced compared to metal socket, you may get a slight profit increase per pound.

kgryczan; are you sure that holds true at the moment? Last I was told (end of last year) it's still a metal socket motherboard.
