28/29 I'd go telco
30 depends on the back and 31 a gold copper alloy. Starting to tarnish.

This looks to be a high end graphics card, which falls under Gold Finger Card. I do not think it is enough for Telco, but please wait for a confirmation from Lost, or MLS.

Ok. That heat sink has some solid weight to it for sure. The board probably weighs close to a pound alone. I picked it up today along with about 80lbs of lap top batteries.

Also, what do yall think would be inside a vintage 80s IBM System 36 computer setup? There is a large lot of 80s computers and printers I am picking up Wednesday. The CL ad said it costs $400K new in 1986, but I cant find that anywhere. Its only a 45min ride, so worth it IMO.

CL for the win baby!

Card is gold finger card. That heatsink did more for show than help in this case. Bit of overkill on a (upper) midrange card.

Assuming it's a System/36 ...
totally dependant on the model and class. S/36 was a standardised range of mini computers. It's also much more the realm of what I work on most of the time. And the range of what was offered was across the board.
So I'll lay this out two ways for you. If the the seller has no clue and randomly pulled an actual price from some advert on the internet I'd say worth the trip, possible. But you're more likely going to get a 5XXX series terminal than an actual 36 mini. My guess without any background is you'll be looking at one or more 536X units rather than a true mini component.
The terminals are far more prevalent than the minicomputer server units.
On the other hand:
The 3650 and 3660 server components were 350000 dollars plus. And an Ad or As unit started at half a mill. Weigh a few hundred lbs, look like miniature washing machines. About 4 x 4 x 6 foot cubes or 2 by 2 by 8 foot towers. Full of gold silver nickel clean copper and silver wires, telco boards and pin/peg board wire wraps. Now there's a chance here but companies usually dumped the terminals on the open market and had the server unit hauled out.

Those terminals however have a 50/50 chance of some socketed gold cap chips. Weigh between 50-150 lbs, may even have 8 inch drives (big silveride cases).
Head over to Wikipedia for a full rundown of the various components to help get a feel for what you're getting into.

If this is a true full system, though, you're gonna need some help getting out of there.

Without going into the design's history here. There are literally hundreds of these that are "missing" across the country. Once they had them nobody wanted to move them. IBM changed the billing system for leasing in 1989 and again in 1992. Thousands of these fell of the paper rolls. They're all now legally abandoned property so no worries on grabbing one.
But considering that you need a truck or trailer and manpower to move them many were left where they were dropped day one. For the uninitiated they look like just another piece of outdated electronics equipment
Good luck and have fun.

Just got off the phone with the guy. There are 2 units the size of refrigerators and they are very heavy according to the man. He said they worked up when the business shut down in 1995. Have a strong feeling we have the 3650 style on our hands. The cummins will be getting some work tomorrow! Im excited
