Trying a faster way to grade all my boards?
I am new here and just trying to find a more efficient way to grade all of my stuff, without having to post pictures of every board. I have 5 tub's of misc content. Is there a general rule about boards for example the following?

Brown/Brown from tv's
Brown top/Green bottom from TV's
brown/green from desktop power supplies
etc?
Any and all info would be very helpful so I don't have to post more pictures and questions!
Thanks in advance

99% of brown boards after 1985 or so are low grade. Older than that should probably be posted.

Green/brown are about 50/50 low and mid grade. ICs will boost it to midgrade.

There's very rare exceptions worth more so if there's 50 ICs on a brown board you'll want to post a pic for review. Heck if there's 10 ICs I'd be uploading a photo!

LCD and plasma tv boards run midgrade to telco. Use the gallery and search the forums. I've done quite a few replies about them. Tube TVs run lowgrade to peripheral.

If all else fails feel free to post photos.

thanks very much!
Is it worth it to depopulate a large board like this, has large heat sinks and large transformers, capacitors & copper coils?

unless you live close to boardsort most mid-grade and lower are going to cost more to ship than you will get paid... depopulate them and find local yards that will by the scrap metal. doesn't hurt to check with the yards, because a few will take the boards as is and you don't have to break anything down.
