The ring from the hard drive head arm in with the pins isn't gold. It's a tin copper nickel alloy. My local yards buy them as clean brass.
Those gold headers tend to be between 60c and 80x per lb so at this point I just add them to my gold pin connectors. Unless I have something uber different which I'm not seeing in your cup.
Pins are a different story. Pins are purchased after on site review. They are scanned on receipt with an xrf gun and paid a percentage of spot based on actual gold content. Rate has been between 88-92% based on my estimated calculations of what I sent and what I was paid for them.
Boardsort buys pins. You'll need to send them in. Ideally you'd send the email back when you fill out a quote for your boards with your shipping number and let them know in it that you sent pins for review. I know it's not the best for new sellers but I believe the reviews speak for themselves that this company is honest. I send pins with most of my shipments.
