Hi, Just wanted to see where these smoke detector boards would fall.

Also do you see anything concerning on them? I did not see any hazardous material warnings

The middle one can't be shipped anywhere without a NBC license. You can drive around with one or two if you want but don't ship it. It's got an irradiation chamber. You will get caught and you will get fined.
I doubt anyone you go to would pay for it. Boardsort doesn't buy them.
Generally that's best to take to your local hazmat dropoff.

The one on the right, carefully remove the battery. Don't touch both ends at the same time. These usually have a fair bit of amperage to them. Looks like 16 here. With VERY few exceptions I don't deal with smoke detectors. Any I get go to my hazmat dropoff. I'd suggest you do the same.

Thank you so much Lost! They threw out a box of these at work, and at work they will stay.

I brought a load of 3000ish lbs of low and mid grade boards to a local yard and the 3 smoke detectors in the pile was enough of a signature to trip their radiation sensors. And have the whole load rejected. That was years ago and I never tried dealing with them (smoke detectors, the yard is great) again.
They're not really dangerous in and of themselves but the stigma is enough to turn any yard off.
And while you won't glow in the dark if you break a chamber open it's definitely not good for you.

There's a few posts about them here on the site and my general suggestion remains as above. Hazmat. For proper disposal.
