on the controller board with the gold fingers wondering if itd be best to snip the fingers (if i end up having a gold fingers pile)

Controller)telco if you leave the ICs in, probably peripheral if you remove them. Carefully remove the box battery top right.

Thanks for noting the battery removal on the controller board! didnt even notice it!

The dell board pics were Front/back. So do i roll with backplane?
