Hi,

Just wanted to see what needed to be cleaned off this mother board. On the backside there is a metal plate which is attached to the metal socket. Does this still count as metal socket? Or would it have to be removed? Also is the heatsink ok to stay on? For that matter can all heatsinks stay on all motherboards?

The rear bracket should be removed. Those sinks can star. It's oversized sinks they are concerned with
