I can't remember exactly what I pulled this out of I have been putting it off as the lid was held on by a bunch of screws. Screws were also used to hold the "cylinders" into the carrier. I'm curious about possible types of metal it may be. It is non magnetic but feels much heavier than aluminum I hit it with a file and it appears there is an alloy but other than that I don't know

EWT is a defence and communications contractor. Could be titanium, moly, any of a number of expensive alloys. Aluminium is not high on my list of possibilities.
This is one where you need a scrap yard that you trust that has an xrf gun.
Same for the caps and if you have them I’d even have the screws tested.
