The closet scrap yard that buys ewaste from my knowledge from me is a 5 hour drive, so I try to really only find things worth shipping off from boards and throw what's left into my pile of low grade (which I will someday do something about) but seeing that it is peripheral it falls into this category of "how board I am and how obsessive compulsive I'm feeling over this". Turns out I was board and really want to tear into this one

File comment: So head phones jacks (28) what do they go as? Also little speakers off phone/digital recorders (29)? Also fuses (30), batteries off boards (31)? And If boardsort doesn't take them, what do you guys do with them. Will 32 be classified as cell battery? And 33 is a pieces out of a trigger on a drill it's copper but some kind of silver color plating (I have a couple of pounds of) is that consider silver plated brass and if not what is?

File comment: Backsides, 21 has those little switch/button looking things I can't tell if it's gold or brass though

File comment: All the pin connectors are silver plated looking on these boards, I was thinking peripheral maybe some boarding telecom but maybe not really, I guess that's why I'm posting

File comment: Backsides. On 11 you can see the gold plating which is under both of the connectors on the other side, 13 is a printer board has all those gold pins so is it peripheral or does it rate higher?

File comment: 11 I normally would have just thrown low grade but then noticed heavier looking gold plating on it some you can't see under the connectors that are silver plated brass. 11 - 13 peripheral? And 14 and 15 are from calculators rather blank with gold plating don't know if they'd go peripheral or mid grade?

File comment: I removed some of the components on 1 and 2, mostly it was some heavier stuff like transformers and large wet capacitors, but I was thinking still all peripheral?

I’ll be back in a bit. Going to do this from my computer .

33)silver plated brass (copper in this case)
32)recycle, boardsort doesn't buy
31)Large one is standard lithium, small one may be silver oxyde (not boardsort)
30)white one may be silver (look up stamps), clear one probable tungsten (not boardsort)
29)midgrade
28)midgrade (better off locally)
27)peripheral
26)peripheral

24)peripheral
23)midgrade

13)peripheral
12)peripheral
11)midgrade
10)CD/DVD controller
09)peripheral (floppy controller)
08)peripheral
07)small socket
06)peripheral
05)peripheral (just barely)
04)midgrade
03)peripheral
02)midgrade
01)midgrade

boardsort doesn't buy fuses button cell batteries silver jacks or pouch batteries
fuses I sell to my yard locally. Silver plate jacks go in my dirty copper. Button cells: make sure you tape them good. Silver oxyde ones I sell to a buttery buyer, they run from 25c-$1.00 each. Pouch batteries recycle at a local electronics or hardware store.
13 and 9 are peripheral solely for those pins
14/15 pump ic (sealed IC) and no junk keep it in peripheral. And steel, cannister capacitors etc and these would fall to midgrade very quickly.
1 and 2 are distribution boards. They just about never climb out of midgrade on the high end.

watch those white blocks. They contain barium and boron. Don't crack or break them and use a bit of packing tape to tape over it, tape it up well. I tend to mark then over the tape as B/Ba so they know.

Thanks lostinlodos! The only reason I was think peripheral was because they have these sets of gold pins, which I should have mentioned
