i would say that every board there with the exception of the last would go as telecom. The last one should go as backplane.

Just a question though... where did boards 16 and 17 come from??? I would love to get my grubby little mitts on some boards like them! I have recently started collecting odd ball boards that strike my fancy :p

Look at my first post on this subject. Maybe we can get you one of these boards for your collection.

14 is peripheral. There’s heavy iron under the square shell, along with copper.

Mls I’ve found ones like those in cube rack expansions and blade units in the past. They’re network I/O cards.

Please remember I am a first timer. I am assuming the shell is the square thing on the left of the board at midpoint. Can I remove this to upgrade the board? I don't know what I can and cant do to get the best payout. Shipping from Kansas I am sure will come into play.

I can’t tell from the photo if it’s screwed on or riveted. If it’s screwed on you can remove it for an upgrade. If it’s riveted you risk cracking the board which will likely downgrade the pieces depending on the damage.

19) peripheral
20) telco
21) midgrade (though I’d make a note of it for a site review when you send/bring them in; sometimes you get silver stand-offs rather than nickel, which would be an upgrade to peripheral).
