These identical boards are a first to me. One side is gold finger and the other side is silver. What would they be? Gold finger card or plain peripherals?

i belive thats a controler board for a large floppy drive. if so it isnt a gfc

but might make cd board class worst case peripheral

Agree on both points. Looks like an early 525 or late 8” board

Cd/dvd controller is probably the best place for them.

thanks all.

i actually scraped some 1980 IBM's and 389 deskpro's. All of the floppy disk drives boards had gold fingers so i will keep the board with my CD board bucket.
