I have some Intel Pentiums (porcylian)that don't have the gold caps, as well as 386 and 486 cpus' some with gold caps some without, how would they be rated?

i believe the pentiums without gold caps go as Pentium/mac ceramic class

Usually 386/486s have a gold cap on the bottom with the pins... if that's the case they still fall into the 386/486 class. If they don't have any cap I believe they would go as pentium/mac ceramic class as well... unless they are AMD, then they would be a little lower in value.

All and am386 and am486 have gold caps and go as 486 class. Other AMD ceramics have the AMD ceramic class. 486/386 chips with gold caps are 386/486. Without gold caps it varies and is best to post a picture or atleast a product number.
That said mls is right most capless 386/486 go as pentium Mac ceramic

Ok thanks guys, we got a big load in with lots of them. Should be a real nice shipment. Last count around 100 or so white boxes, still have about 35 more to tear down. Some are very old Zenith and IBMs' with 6 inch floppy drives,,,lol, old 80286 stuff.
