SIM cards (generally under 50c per lb)
Gold pins. Paid after reception by boardsort and can’t be quoted by sight via photos They test the pins, pegs, etc for all materials present and pay a rate based on the actual metals content gold pins range all over the place. From under $1 per pound to over $10.
Air cards. Comes from the WiFi “air card” units. Very unique and rarely encountered non classable cards and boards that are above telco and below green fibre in value. Includes SOME WiFi and cellular cards, oversized micro cpu boards with socket pins, etc.
Bizarre CPUs. No not rare. We’re looking at one off and test stuff. Out of class engineering samples. Also note test or engineering sample stamping on the chip doesn’t make it different than the standard class.
Those last two are really rare. A quick search on the threads will show far more people ask about them than have a qualifying board. And for both most non-industry-insiders are more likely to see big foot being abducted by aliens than come across a qualifying board.
I’ve had one aircard ever. And the few test sample chips I sent that got their own rate were from a surplus auction.
