Lots of heavy attachments...if midgrade what can I specifically can I depopulate and what do I do with it? (For example all those stand up black tabs - no clue what they are)

All those appear to go as mid grade. 1 could be peripheral because of IC chips, but I see too many capacitors and other power components to go higher than midgrade.

So even though there are gold connectors it's stil midgrade? Would it be best best to depopulate some of the stuff?

Two with transformers are midgrade. Other three are peripheral.

Peripheral is generally based on IC content as a rule.
Some exceptions make a jump from midgrade to peripheral for gold connectors of certain design for very specific reasons.
For example the nearly bare floppy disk controllers for most 3.5 and some 5.25 drives
Or high class learning remote controls since they have a full fledged cpu.
