 Post subject: CAMERA CIRCUIT BOARDS

I scrapped this from a camcorder. I have many more from webcams as well. I noticed that inside of the glass chamber there are lots of gold bonding or gold threadings. I know that as is it would go for Peripheral but if I remove the chip/glass chamber in the middle what would Boardsort buy that chip/chamber as? Will there be a special category for it?

Removing the chip would downgrade the board to mid-grade. I don't know what the chip will be classified as once it's removed.
