If it has a cpu on it that cannot be removed it will fall into that category?

I thought that category was for cpu's

These are CPUs (the whole board) They use a connection method known as processor direct (for Mac and clones) or direct bus (for pc and other risc). They integrate the entire primary and secondary processing system on a single card.
Yes these fall into green/brown fibre with metal.

What you’re seeing here is a more modern version of the xt/at and ePCIx riser cpu boards. The cpu, cpu clock, internal I/o controller (bridge) and sometimes an adaptive coprocessor.
These with the partial motherboard are literally the direct precursor to the three board itx design in early “flip brick” cell phones which gave us the two board mITX Nokia and eventually pITx android and uITX iPhone units.

its a 1998 -2000 year mac board but still wierd.

That’s about right with the iMac being 1998.
These are right on the edge. I’ve sent a few.

They weigh between 2 and 4 ounces

Oh and about 2x4 inches or 1x3 inches
