First picture in the second post is a backplane card, and old one.

Last picture is a SATA RAID card.

first photo is small dual socket motherboard. The sockets appear to be LGA 775 or newer. Generally, your Pentium 4 and later model chips are smaller than 2"

Your last photo appears to be a green board taken from a laptop display or flat panel monitor. I have one similar to it that was evaluated by boardsort and they gave it a grade of peripheral.

The sata raid card would most likely go as a fingered expansion card. Your server board would be either large socket motherboard or large socket server board. I believe the difference would be number of memory slots and number and/or type of sockets for attaching drive cables.

Wow kgryczan is on the ball here!

Yes, pic 8612 is a Small Socket Server Board paying $2.60/lb.

Pic 8620 is a Small Socket Motherboard at $1.85/lb.

And as kgryczan said, 8616 is out of a LCD panel and is Peripheral at $1.40/lb.

While 8620 is technically a backplane, we will buy that as a Gold Finger Card because of the gold fingers on the bottom. Any backplane that has those can be upgraded to GFC which is paying $3.90 per pound currently.

8613 is classic Large Socket Motherboard. The only time we consider them servers is when they have more than one CPU socket. The memory or drive cable socket are not considered when grading a board.

8621 is a Gold Finger Card. As with all GFC's you can leave the metal mounting bracket on the card.

Thanks for the look, and thanks for the help kgryczan!

My guess a board where the CPU is not removable will either go as small socket or peripheral.

We would buy that motherboard as a Small Socket Motherboard.
